    Kellie is registered with the Myotherapy Association Australia and has been working as a Myotherapist for the past 6 years.  Having experienced the benefits of Chiropractic care since she was a child, Kellie well understands the benefits of Chiropractic and how as a Myotherapist she can help you achieve optimum health through our Integrated model of care.

    What is Myotherapy?

    Myotherapy is a physical therapy which uses evidence based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. Myotherapists work with their patients to identify factors making their conditions worse eg poor posture, over training. They help find ways to avoid or reduce aggravating factors by giving stretches or corrective exercises. For those patients where a condition can not change, a pain management program can be put into place and where appropriate referrals made to other professionals.

    What do Myotherapists treat?

    There are a broad range of musculokeletal conditions that can be treated including;

    • Back, neck and shoulder discomfort
    • Headaches
    • Sporting injuries
    • Rotator cuff problems
    • Occupational injuries
    • Jaw pain and clicking
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Tennis, golfers elbow

    Once symptoms have settled treatment can focus on restoring optimal activity, reducing the likelihood of further injury and keeping you moving and performing at your best!
